A Guide to Physician Speakers
for the Community and the Media

The physician members of the New Haven County Medical Association would like to keep you informed and up-to-date about health care and health-related issues. The NHCMA has more than 2,200 physician members representing a wide variety of medical specialties and interests.

Our physician speakers have volunteered to share their professional knowledge and expertise with the community through speaking engagements and serving as a resource to the media.

For the Community

The NHCMA can provide your group, club or organization with a physician speaker on a wide variety of health topics. We invite you to review the list of available topics and contact the New Haven County Medical Association to request a physician speaker for your organization’s next meeting. If a topic of interest does not appear on the list, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

To schedule a speaker, call NHCMA at (203) 699-2400. In order to meet your schedule, please allow four to six weeks of advance notice. There is no fee for this service.

For the Media

The public’s increasing awareness and need for information on health care generate many media stories. The NHCMA physician speakers can serve as a leading source of reliable and interesting medical information for your readers, listeners and viewers.

If your story calls for a response from or interview with a physician in the community, contact NHCMA at (203) 699-2400 or via email at medserv@medservct.com for immediate assistance.
