NGS Medicare Conference
Stamford, CT - August 30-31, 2011

National Government Services will be hosting a two-day live Medicare Conference at the Stamford Marriott to help providers understand specific Medicare regulations, prevent common claim errors, and, most importantly, help toward increasing the Medicare cash flow by submitting claims correctly upon first submission.

If your claim is denied do you understand the appeal process and how to go about having the claim reconsidered for payment? Is your facility being held liable for services when perhaps they should not be held liable? If the answer is yes, then come attend this conference and hear about issuing a proper Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN). Having eligibility - type rejections on your claims? Come hear how NGS Connex can help you check eligibility.

If you have these or other questions and your facility/practice struggles with Medicare regulations or claims processing, or if you could use a great refresher course, our upcoming ongoing Jurisdiction 13 (Connecticut & New York) Face-to-Face Educational Conferences will provide answers. Tuesday, August 30 will be dedicated to Part A providers and Wednesday, Aug. 31, will be dedicated to Part B providers.

Topics include but are not limited to the following:

• Getting ready for 5010
• Do you have questions on Medicare's LCD/NCD
• Need more information on the CERT/RAC process
• Frustrated with your MSP rejected claims and do not know why or what you should be doing
• Are you a Home Health or Hospice provider and questions on coverage and billing
• What are the coverage and billing guidelines for FQHCs
• Knowing when to issue an ABN to a beneficiary, can save you from unnecessary liability
• How can you avoid the common 1500 submission errors
• Interested in the facts about billing for diagnostic radiology services
• Do you know what the common billing errors are for podiatry claims and how you can avoid them
• Still have questions on the recent consultation changes
• Do you take advantage of all of the preventive services Medicare has to offer?
• Section 935
• SNF hot topics
• MSP billing scenarios
• Global surgery
• Provisions of the ACA: PCIP and AWV

In addition to the above, National Government Services will provide important information to help providers submit claims more efficiently. Topics are geared towards helping providers successfully submit claims to Medicare the first time and to increasing their Medicare cash flow.

Visit www.NGSMedicareConvention.com to view additional information and to register for these conferences.  Attendees will receive six (6) Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and providers will also receive six (6) Medicare University Credits (MUC). Walk in registrations will be accepted.
